Job Summary
Crowell & Moring LLP, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified professional track/staff trademark associate to join its Advertising & Brand Protection practice group, in its Chicago, IL office. This is a full-time, professional (non-promotion) track attorney position
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will meet the following experience and skill requirements -
- A minimum of 5 years of extensive domestic and international trademark prosecution experience, 10+ years of experience preferred
- Extensive experience in trademark portfolio management,
- Extensive experience reviewing trademark search reports and preparing written trademark clearance opinions
- Experience monitoring trademark watch notices and preparing written recommendations when warranted
- Experience with trademark enforcement, including prepare cease-and-desist letters, and handling oppositions and cancellation actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board,
- Experience managing international trademark matters and communicating with foreign trademark practitioners
- Experience with trademark licensing, and due diligence projects
- Have excellent academic and professional credentials as well as highly developed writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Be a member of the Illinois Bar or eligible to waive in.
