We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Permanent Patent Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of intellectual property rights, including patent applications, patent analysis, and patent strategy. This position will play a critical role in protecting our company's intellectual property and ensuring our innovative products and services are legally safeguarded. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of patent law, a proven track record of success in patent litigation, and excellent legal research skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of patent applications to protect the company's intellectual property rights.
2. Conduct comprehensive patent analysis to identify potential risks and provide strategic recommendations.
3. Develop and implement effective patent strategies to protect the company's inventions and innovations.
4. Represent the company in patent litigation cases, working closely with other members of the legal team to prepare and present robust legal arguments.
5. Conduct thorough legal research to stay updated on the latest developments in patent law and advise the company accordingly.
6. Collaborate with various departments within the company to understand their needs and ensure their innovative ideas are legally protected.
7. Provide training and guidance to company employees on intellectual property rights and patent law.
8. Advise on licensing, copyright, trademark, and design matters related to the company's intellectual property.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Patent Attorney.
3. Extensive knowledge of intellectual property law and patent application processes.
4. Proven track record in patent litigation.
5. Excellent legal research skills.
6. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
10. Admission to a state bar and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
