Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Corporate Legal Counsel to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, litigation, and intellectual property. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast–paced startup environment, focusing on space robotics. You will be responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and advising on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Purchase Orders (POs) from US government agencies.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal support for commercial transactions, including drafting and negotiating contracts.
2. Advise on regulatory compliance, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
3. Handle litigation matters, including managing external counsel.
4. Protect the company's intellectual property rights.
5. Review, interpret, and advise on RFPs and POs from US government agencies.
6. Develop and implement legal compliance and risk management strategies.
7. Review procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or non–compliance issues.
8. Provide legal advice and support to the executive team on a wide range of legal and business matters.
Qualifications:
1. A Law degree from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 4+ years of securities/corporate law experience.
3. Experience as an in–house legal counsel, preferably in a technology company.
4. At least 2 years of legal experience in technology.
5. Extensive experience in reviewing, interpreting, and advising on RFPs and POs.
6. Familiarity with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
7. Experience working with government agencies.
8. The ability to review procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or non–compliance issues.
9. A strong background in space robotics is a plus.
