As a Senior Legal Counsel at Invicti, you'll be at the forefront of our legal operations, providing the strategic insight that propels our business forward. You'll ensure we stay ahead of regulatory changes and risks, enabling our teams to grow and innovate confidently.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents and contracts relating to commercial, branding, marketing and advertising, employment as well as corporate and intra–group matters.
  2. Working with the business to provide relevant and accurate legal advice on various commercial areas, as well as marketing, intellectual property, privacy, and data protection matters.
  3. Collaborating with other departments within the organization, such as finance, payments, operations, and compliance, to ensure legal compliance in all aspects of the company's operations.
  4. Advising stakeholders on the mitigation of legal and regulatory risks in all jurisdictions the company operates from.
  5. Creating and implementing operational policies and procedures per applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Staying up–to–date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization and communicating those changes to the appropriate stakeholders.
  7. Assisting in corporate governance matters, including management meetings, filings, and compliance with corporate formalities.
  8. Collaborating with external consultants on jurisdiction–specific matters, including litigation, enforcement, and regulatory matters.
  9. Investigating and responding to legal claims and disputes.
  10. Promoting yourself as an ambassador for legal services within the business.
  11. Working closely with the General Counsel and supporting the general administration of the legal team.

What You'll Need:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the bar association of the state in which you are located.
  2. Minimum 4 years PQE with training from a reputable law firm or in–house team and a strong background in commercial law and contract negotiation. Experience in data protection and privacy matters will be considered an asset.
  3. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and advising on commercial contracts.
  4. A proactive self–starter who can manage their workload and timetable and efficiently handle competing priorities.
  5. An effective communicator with a good command of English; knowledge of any other language will be considered an asset.
  6. The ability and willingness to be involved and take the lead in different projects.
  7. Ability to adopt a commercial approach and to understand the operations of the business.
  8. Excellent analytical skills and the capability to identify legal risks and provide risk analysis on different and novel areas.
  9. A strong team player and leader with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and to work for the success of the wider business.
