TalenTailors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Counsel to join our customer s team. As the General Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the company on a wide range of matters.
Our client belongs to the Top50 Web3 Companies based on their Market Cap and is expecting further growth. The COO (Europe–based) is looking for a Legal counterpart who will be qualified to act as General Counsel and oversee a legal team of two. The idea is to work together for approximately one week/month in New York and remotely for the rest of the time. The ideal candidate is US–based, provides relevant experience in a comparable role, and is keen to take over responsibility.
Requirements
Law degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, preferably as in–house counsel
Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and intellectual property
Experience with technology and/or software companies is a plus
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to mitigate legal risks and protect company interests
High ethical standards and integrity
