The VP of Corporate Counsel is responsible for managing all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions at the company. This role requires working as a generalist on a wide array of legal matters, from negotiating commercial agreements to working on intellectual property protection, regulatory affairs, compliance, employment, and other issues as needed. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the executive team, and all teams across the company as the first point of contact for legal matters.

Intus Care is a healthcare analytics platform that synthesizes healthcare data to identify risks, visualize trends, and optimize care for PACE programs. Intus Care empowers care providers to mitigate high risk events and equips executives with the tools to make informed decisions based on comprehensive clinical and operational data. Our mission is to catalyze data driven change to achieve high–value, multi–disciplinary care for older adults. In addition, Intus Care offers a broad range of technical assistance and consulting services to support new PACE programs under development and existing programs that are growing and evolving to meet the needs of their communities.
In This Role You Will:
- Develop and implement scalable processes, infrastructure, and frameworks for all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions.
- Lead commercial contracting and complex deal negotiation.
- Act as a subject matter expert and legal resource for others, including staying current on changes in laws and regulations having to do with the health care industry.
- Oversee corporate governance and equity.
- Develop and review policies and procedures across the organization.
- Work closely with the people team on HR–related policies and processes and advise on employee related matters including immigration.
- Manage company insurance and all company filings.
- Manage relationship with outside counsel as needed.
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from a U.S. accredited law school required; licensed to work in NY, MA, or RI preferred.
- 10+ years of legal experience, with 5+ years working within the healthcare industry.
- Prior professional experience in–house at a digital health/healthtech company or healthcare institution, working on healthcare–related matters; familiarity with data privacy and protection rules governing healthcare preferred.
- Knowledge of current laws, regulations and industry standards governing healthcare industry, data and organizations.
- Experience drafting and negotiating MSA's, SOW's, corporate, vendor and contractor agreements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to novel issues.
- Highly organized with an ability to multitask, problem solve, and balance competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

Salary Range: $180,000 – $200,000/year.
Location: Remote
