Job Description
Program Overview:
Verisk's Summer Internship Program is designed to provide you with real work experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. This is a full–time (40 hours/ week) paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2025. Participation in the internship program requires that you are located near your assigned office as the program is a hybrid work schedule, requiring you to be in the office at least 2 days per week

What You Could Learn:
Own, run and manage assigned projects within the Legal, Compliance and Audit (LC&A) departments at Verisk
Support one or more of Legal's practice areas (Litigation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Intellectual Property, Privacy, Contracts, Insurance) by providing support to attorneys on their matters, including conducting research, developing summaries, etc.
Collaborate closely with LC&A Operations team members, as well as staff within and outside of the department, to understand pain points / challenges and needs, and as requested, provide support to address those needs (e.g. document learnings, create guides, draft process maps and RASCI charts)
Aid in the planning, execution, and communication around LC&A staff events, including coordination of pro bono events, social activities, and learning and development (e.g. CLE courses)
Develop or assist in the development of PowerPoint presentations, such as decks for staff Town Halls, tutorials / walkthroughs, and more.
Assist in the development and maintenance of both internal and customer facing LC&A departmental websites; consolidate staff resources (e.g. staff directories, learning and development resources, calendars, FAQs, etc.)
Perform analyses as required and summarize findings / results
Directly support Verisk's Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and Head of Operations for LC&A as needed
