IP PRACTICE GROUP ASSOCIATE (2085)

Our client, a top firm on the Am Law Global 100, is seeking a Practice Group Attorney to join their dynamic New Jersey team, which focuses on a broad range of intellectual property matters. This role involves supporting the IP Practice in the strategic development, procurement, and counseling of patent portfolios, with a particular emphasis on chemical–related patents. Ideal candidates will have experience in drafting and prosecuting chemical–related patent applications, managing global patent portfolios, and preparing freedom–to–operate opinions. A degree or advanced degree in chemical engineering is preferred, but candidates with backgrounds in materials science, chemistry, or relevant experience will also be considered. Applicants must be in good standing with the New Jersey Bar or be admitted as soon as practicable, and should possess strong academic credentials, client interaction skills, and excellent writing and analytical abilities.
