We are actively seeking Commercial Contracts Attorneys located anywhere in the US with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of legal experience in commercial contracting.
- Excellent legal experience, with a background in an in–house environment preferred.
- Substantive experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts such as supply chain/logistics agreements, master service agreements, manufacturing agreements, technology agreements, vendor agreements, nondisclosure agreements, licensing agreements, etc.
- Experience supporting global clients preferred.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, interface directly with clients, and complete time–sensitive work product quickly.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal business clients, support staff, external resources, and other collaborators.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and function independently without extensive supervision.
- JD Degree from an accredited institution.
- Active bar license in good standing in the state in which you currently reside.
- Epiq Counsel partners with industry–leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed–term legal services model.
Partner with our industry–leading clients on the following responsibilities:
- Dynamic project work that varies in length and is conducted remotely or hybrid depending on client needs.
- Variable hours in a consultancy role; commitment may range from part–time to full–time based on project requirements.
- Structure, draft, review, negotiate and interpret critical contracts, including general product and service procurement agreements, purchase agreements, manufacture and supply agreements, services agreements, and software/technology licenses, etc.
- Partner with and advise business units and clients directly, providing guidance and practical solutions.
- Collaborate with peers and leaders in legal department and client business units, ensuring project and deal outcomes align with priorities, support company goals, comply with legal requirements, and adequately mitigate enterprise risk.
