A Nashville–based company is seeking a corporate counsel to join its legal department. The ideal candidate will have six to eight (6–8) years' experience in general corporate law, insurance law, and regulatory matters in a law firm or corporate setting. The position will provide legal advice and support regarding general corporate matters and property and casualty insurance operations focused on retail sales, marketing, and e–commerce. The position will also support and approve development of marketing and advertising materials and website content, in addition to drafting and reviewing contracts, NDAs, M&A transactions, and asset purchase agreements. A Fort Smith–based public company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join its legal department. A Nashville–based, medium–sized law firm is seeking a Controller/Administrator to handle the administration of firm business, including financial and accounting administration. Duties will include handling accounts payable/accounts receivable; vendor contact and coordination; coordination of law firm tax and accounting issues; processing month–end, quarter–end, and year–end financials; and attorney and client billing. Additional duties include the implementation of decisions made by law firm management, as well as human resources and employee matters.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree in accounting or finance (CPA or MBA preferred) and at least seven (7) years of experience handling law firm accounting/controller matters. Experience with the Coyote Analytics legal billing and accounting program preferred, but not required. Candidate must also have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills.
