Trademark Paralegal Fully Remote

Riebling IP, PLLC is a Washington, DC trademark law firm that enforces and prosecutes trademark portfolios. Riebling is seeking a responsive, bright, motivated person with law firm or in-house trademark-related work experience to handle part-time paralegal responsibilities to support its trademark practice. In this role, the candidate may be expected to work on domestic and international trademark portfolio management, including Statements of Use, Extensions of Time, Office Actions, maintenance, renewals, creating reports, managing and clearing docket deadlines, assisting attorneys and other paralegals as needed, conducting research, drafting and filing documents with the USPTO, and corresponding with firm clients and foreign counsel. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of USPTO procedures, a high priority on client service, and good writing skills, are required. Candidates should also have experience in coordinating powers of attorney and obtaining legalization of documents, chain of title assessment and clean-up and other due diligence matters. J.D. holders will not be considered.  This position is 100% fully remote. The candidate will set their own schedule and work as available as projects become available on a case-by-case basis. There is no set minimum hours requirement. Concurrent contract work for other firms is allowed. This assignment will last for 2025 or beyond.
