We have a fully staffed trademark team led by an experienced trademark attorney. This position will directly support our Director of Trademark to ensure the highest level of trademark protection for our clients' brand names. Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary trademark searches, using Corsearch, Google and AI platforms primarily Prepare trademark reports for internal creative teams to review Assist with administrative systems and processes Partner with Lexicon’s creative team to discuss search strategies for client projects & discuss name candidates prior to presenting to clients Maintain internal trademark databases Support the Director of Trademark in administrative tasks and document preparation for clients
Qualifications:
- Familiarity in trademark law and screening
- Familiarity with USPTO procedures Experience with trademark management software, preferably Corsearch Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate or relevant coursework preferred 0-2 years of experience in a legal setting, preferably with exposure to trademark law Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, creative environment Interest in trademark law and brand development
Additional Requirements:
- This is a full-time position, and employees must work in our San Francisco Bay Area office 3+ days per week. Preference for in-office 5 days/week. Candidates must be eligible and authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
